I had a Gold border when the season 8 ended because I finished season 8 gold. It is now end of preseason 9 and my border is silver. I am not sure if this is a bug or its meant to happen. (I'm also still gold right now)

lil box1 votesIt really doesn't matter what border you have, just your rank and actual skill. But yes it's a bug that appeared in 9.1 and from I've seen it's using flex borders for normal games even if your solo q rank is higher.
