I got banned for someone saying Kill yourself to me.

I was joking around and in game one they said they were queued so they all reported me for nothing. They told me to kill my self when I was playing the game. Can someone from riot inspect game 1 because the other team repeatedly told me to kill my self? Please take a look at Game two too. I Tried playing and it was a bad game. My twisted fate bought 6 broken stopwatches while i tried my hardest to win. I did say somethings but I don't think that it is bannable. If someone from riot sees this I would like a more clear explanation on why I was banned for half a month. Just remember a lot of people have said somethings worst than this and do not get bans. I think a 2 week ban is not needed. When someone reports you for the fun of it and bots look over it and ban you; I think it should be over looked by a riot employee.

Why do folks keep going with the clickbait "I got banned for somebody saying X to me!" bullshit thread titles?

You flamed your teammates. There's no good reason to flame somebody in a game of League. When you come back from your 14-day ban, avoid flaming or get perma'd.

Riot doesnt actually review the context of what is said. They have trigger phrases linked that automatically assign bans based on those words regardless of the context. These phrase words include, any reference to killing oneself or another player, gender slurs, racial slurs, mental health slurs. I even got suspended from the boards once for saying that the culture of this game made me want to [reference to death] because I truly thought that way, but instead of reaching out to me to check my mental health Riot bans me from the boards for calling attention to how this game actually makes people feel sometimes. Regardless of the context and regardless of how toxic the person is you are flaming with, these things will get you an insta ban. I speak from experience after going off on a toxic player in game, even though they didnt use the language I used, their actions were more toxic than what I said to them, but that doesn't matter. You just have to keep your mouth shut for fear Riot will punish you for calling out toxicity in an equally toxic way, and being nice to those types of players only makes them more toxic. My advice, keep your head down don't say shit. Take your loss, report them and move on. And other players are so soft that even if you are in the right with wanting to flame, people will more than likely defend the toxic player before they defend you just because the toxic player didn't use bannable language, thus giving no indication of toxicity as in game actions are harder to prove toxic than words, even if that toxicity is aimed at someone being toxic first. And though actions speak louder than words, Riot holds more stake in words than gameplay itself. Most games its not even necessary to even type anything. And letting toxic people goad you into being toxic in return is what get's most people suspended. Then you have all these warriors on the boards that applaud anytime someone gets banned just because of language because Riot creates 0 sympathy for people who are banned, because as I stated, context doesnt matter to them or anyone else here. People on the boards see your words only and so they can only judge you. And because they are not in the heat of a game at the moment, they are able to actually process their thoughts and think of reasons why you are wrong just because you are trying to defend yourself. Defending yourself on the boards will only ever bring haters to your post.

I don't see any zero tolerances phrases present in this chat, however, this chat is very, very long and contains some instances of minor negativity.

As a reminder, longer chats naturally appear to be more toxic, and naturally contain more toxic words and phrases, which causes the chat log to be scored higher by the IFS.
