Hey guys! Just a small bug: When Vlad buys an AP item on Howling Abyss, he gains the total health from his passive, but his CURRENT health does not update. So you start the game missing 40 health or so. His current health does not update any time he buys AP.

It's like that because there is no regen in the fountain. It happens this way on SR, too, but you just don't notice it because the fountain will regen that HP back before you can even tell it wasn't there.
Could they probably set up some kind of special case for Vlad so that his current health updates, too? Probably. Is it really needed? Probably not. He'll either Q/spell vamp it back or regen it back quickly enough. Otherwise, he could just top himself off by grabbing the back health pack on his way to the lane. In all practical applications, he's never buying enough AP at once that the small amount of missing HP from his passive is nothing substantial.
it is intended. vlad's passive gives him max hp from his ap so whenever you buy ap you max hp increases and bc there is no regen in aram it looks like he's losing hp. it's not a bug
