Jinx's chomprers bug

Unless it takes like .25 or .75 seconds for them to root the enemy champ once landed, there have been MANY instances where Jinx will land her chompers and champions can run right over them without anything happening.

This isn't including shields/items/abilities. I've seen a Thresh run over them back to his turret without getting caught (and he was lv 3, just had his relic and pots as his items)

Is this a known bug or am I missing something?

there is def a "channel time" after they land, watch and listen, they land, then activate, then root. This needs to be added to the tooltip though for sure as i think its intended
