Thresh unaffected by Soraka root [GAMEPLAY]

3 times in one game while playing thresh top i was caught in the soraka silence while using my auto attacks and the animation showed me as rooted and i was clearly in the circle when it ended and had no immunity cleanse or banshees veil i was not rooted and continue to auto path and auto attack the soraka there were several other people in the root as well but stopped in their tracks as per usual
