Undead Tower (Gameplay)

So I was playing a game the other day that was quite confusing. On the blue team's side, the tier one tower in the mid lane didn't destroy itself after it was killed. It was still standing. And while it didn't target anyone. It made you have to constantly remember that that tower was gone. Even on the mini-map the tower was still considered alive. I don't remember the champion I was playing at the time, but it was very strange. I was lagging with six million ms (Not even joking about that.) So that might be what it was. But I am still unsure because it lasted all game, so here I am reporting it.
