[GAMEPLAY] [CRASH] Constant freezing and drops in game speed during ARAM matches

For the past 48 hours every single game I have played I cannot stay connected. I disconnect literally every 20-30 seconds. Sometimes it's for longer periods of 30 seconds to a minute and other times it's only for few seconds. In-game this appears as things moving around incoherently, severely delayed attack animations, or me being able to move while no one else is moving.

My ping is in normal range and my FPS is totally fine but my game will not stay connected. I'm on a Mac. Also, I've been getting the "League of Legends quit unexpectedly" popup at the end of every single match since this started happening.

I have not played any other mode besides ARAM, but this happens every game regardless. To reproduce it, all I have to do is enter into an ARAM game. Problems start within a minute or two of playing and continue the entire match.

Is anyone else having this problem?

Thanks, NintenMoney

Sometimes, but not as often as you. I just get the attack animation slow, but that is still sometimes.

Two things come to mind that could be unrelated to the client itself:

  1. Packetloss. Even with a great ping, you can have an unreliable connection that's dropping a lot of data. A common symptom of this is warping units since your client is unable to constantly synchronize unit location data (or anything else) with the server. You can end up at an endless "Attempting to Reconnect" message even if your ping shows a steady 2 digit number.

  2. System overload. If your computer is struggling with too many processes, your game may display a lot of the same symptoms present in a network connection problem since your client will constantly get interrupted by other tasks in progress. An overloaded system can mean a slow CPU, insufficient RAM, insufficient video RAM, a full/fragmented hard drive (particularly for those reliant on dynamic paging files), excessive/overlapping system security, etc.
