Rift Scuttle Glitch - as a jungler costs my team the game

Simply put it glitches out when taking the scuttle whilst also fighting an enemy champ, he smited the scuttle which took it and I was standing where the scuttle would then grant its vision. Upon that happening the enemy jungler died, when I returned to base I still had the "eyes" above my champion as well as the "rift scuttle" icon on my HUD. I was in constant vision thus meaning ganking was near impossible and my team lost the game as a result. I've seen this glitch happen a few times but never to me, now being on the receiving end I can honestly without a doubt say its not a pleasant experience, especially when the loss then gets pinned on you because of your inability to successfully gank a lane due to not being able to remain hidden for a majority of the game.
