I can't buy Challenger Ahri in my snowdown shop.

RoaminOrc·Dec 17, 2015·6 votes·4,434 views

So this is a screenshot of my Snowdown shop. I was able to get Runeguard Volibear but I can't get Challenger Ahri. AND I LOVE AHRI! To be exact, I click on the picture, click unlock, hit yes I want to unlock it, and then it says, "We encountered an error handling your request. Give it another shot." It doesn't work after I relog either. Please help me out, I would love this skin.

This is an update guys, Riot is aware of the issue and is currently trying to fix it.

on PBE i got Championship Shyvana, but it isn't part of the snowstorm sales either

disregardableDec 17, 20151 votes

Looks like I was mistaken. I thought Esports skins weren't being given out. My bad.

lightdragoon88Dec 17, 20151 votes

No. We have until the 30th for them to fix it. Just keep trying every day.

Moonboy65Dec 17, 20151 votes

no, the snowdown shop will include all skins released more than 3 months ago (not including Ultimate, Legendary and Limited skins). Challenger Ahri CAN be obtained from the Snowdown Shop, someone got the same error for Justicar Syndra w/ Syndra bundle

disregardableDec 17, 20151 votes

Ty for the correction, post deleted.

I'm having the exact same problem. I bought Mistletoe LB and BM Akali, but can't buy Challenger Ahri. :([zombie-nunu-bummed]

Edit: Ah, now I've seen the tweet. Best of luck fixing the bug. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

HoneyBadgerHackDec 17, 20151 votes

Yeah I bought RP just so i could get this skin 50% off. I really hope Riot resolves this problem soon.

Drewm0oDec 17, 20151 votes

guys!! Ahri I got it by going through the character screen and scrolling through the skins after getting the error message, i don't know if it'll work for other s but that's how i got it ^^

WalkingInACircleDec 18, 20151 votes

They've re-added the skin to the direct snowdown skins sale, at 50% off. For today and tomorrow only. It's on Katey's twitter.

ÐamionDec 22, 20151 votes

zoodyboyingDec 27, 20151 votes

I am having the same problem with two Irelia skins in my Snowdown shop

ZombiemasterDec 28, 20151 votes

The way it works is, you will be unable to purchase any skin from your Snowdown Shop if:

1.) The skin you want to buy is on sale in the normal store

2.) The champion for the skin you want to buy is on sale in the normal store (this only applies if you don't own the champion).

My guess is you don't own Irelia, and since Irelia is currently on sale in the normal store, you are unable to make that purchase. You will continue to encounter this "error" until either you buy Irelia herself (RP or IP will work) or you wait until 12/29 when Irelia is no longer on sale. Either of those choices will get rid of the "error."
