Client keeps crashing

Ever since this latest patch, my client randomly and frequently crashes without warning. In fact, I don't even know that it can be called crashing as it often just stops. It doesn't tell me anything is wrong, but I notice that people who had previously been chatting suddenly are quiet, or my friend will tell me that I left the lobby, or that a lobby I was hosting closed, when it still looks fine on my end. It's getting really frustrating to try and play, especially since I've just returned from a League hiatus recently, and can't seem to play properly.
