So I'm in silver 1, currently in a series to get me to gold 5. I had 1 win and 2 loses in my series, I logged on today and looked at my LB and it said 69? What is this? There is a definite glitch with this games ranked system. So I just got kicked form my series and went down to 69 lb. Someone help please, riot what is this?

LP continues tracking in the background, though it won't go over 100 during your series. So if you'd won and lost the same number of games, but in a different pattern (Loss-Win-Loss), you would've ended at an LP value appropriate to losing roughly one game from 100LP. If you think about it, it's kinda necessary to make losing a series somewhat significant. Otherwise you'd just get put directly into another series because you'd still have 100LP.
You lose lp the same way as you do in regular ranked games. When you reach the series again its possible that they gift you a win before you start it if its a repeated attempt to advance. If you dodge a champion select during your series I believe it counts as a lost game for the series
