Champ Select Bug

Just now I was trying to play Graves top (this was draft pick), I know a little trick when declaring intent you can search a champion, like say Teemo and there's a little window after the banning starts you can click on the champion and not need to search them up again, so this time I was slow on the timing and I ended up banning "None", so no big deal I thought, but then when I had to lock in my champ, as for the fact I was first to pick. Graves's icon rather than being was the icon for "None" (I need you to just look at the none icon in banning to understand) and when I tried to click lock in, It said "There was an error selecting your champion" and this forced me to dodge, can someone explain to me what happened at the very least? (P.s. The "None" icon was in the place where your role icon would be)
