So is this intentional?

I noticed when i tried ap ez on doombots where you grab smite in every lane pretty much, and my Q was proc'ing ludens, Which got me excited, since I used to main ap ez mid. I went back on live to try it, and it didn't work. Is this a bug? or is the ap jungle item supposed to work like that on ez now? if so thank you. I noticed it does a decent amount of damage, but not nearly as much as reg ludens, so hopefully it might stay?
