Just lost a ranked game because I couldn't trade

Can we get an update on the new client? My team just had to open mid because I wasn't able to follow up on a COORDINATED trade. Neither me nor the other person were able to trade with each other. The client would not let us. This is not the only time I've seen something like this happen, but this is by far the worst case of it I've had. It's ridiculous that the game's CLIENT causes things like this.
