Even at GM level this game is a night in Vegas...

Riot, reduce the randomness in this game, please!

Even at high levels as GM, folks start to realize what we(the mere mortals in < GM only felt, gut-like): this game is a 50-50 game of chance going downhill all the way to 0 for peeps who play less and/ or poorly and slightly go up to 55-60% win rate for GM level with a lot of time to experience and practice in very high elo with other GMs.

Where should I begin(again) ?

1. Shop offers too limited

Five(5) options is a joke in terms of probabilities. I'm a crap math guy and even I can figure out at lvl 1-2 you get 20% chance to get a cost 1 champ in a shop offer slot. Take that and recalculate for 39 champs each minus those exact champs already bought or currently present in the other guys shop offers and you get a shit chance to get your champ then. Oh, did I forget to mention at lvl 1-2 you barely have gold generally speaking, let alone to re-roll and buy? My bad. Also, this happens at 100% chance to get a 1 cost champ. Imagine what happens for champs of which cost and overall count is lower and you certainly gonna see you're already in Vegas, baby!

2. Item drop in PvE

What more to say? You got like what? 33.33333333333333 chance to get either an item component, exp or gold from a monster/ minion in PvE? Then take the 33.(3) and divide it by 8, the total number of item components and you get - wait for it! - 4.1666666667% chance to get a certain component! Easy! Like winning the lottery! Which is basically happening everyday, to everyone and anyone...

3. Meta and synergies

Because some folks detected some really nasty champ and item combinations they easily became what peeps call(and don't fully understand wtf that means cos greek dictionary is already dead, f*ck it) META. So, the way it functions in real competitive environment is everyone's rushing something believed to be OP, be it comp or item wise, then some get unlucky (wait, did I mention you're already INSIDE the casino and draining your pockets into the slot machines???) and get booted out of the game because they didn't get to finish what they started and didn't get to properly transition into something else.

Now you may think this happens only to folks that run identical comps/ items, but check this out! The cherry on top of it all is that when you go for a certain meta comp/ itemization you incidentally affect other peeps that run comps/ items that contain a part of what you're building, so long story short: some other peeps get to be screwed over. So, what? Peeps lost houses and wives in the casinos! Big deal! You lost a tft match and now you're... (-_-)

4. Rounds match up

Well, now we get to another sweet part of the casino: the roulette! Which means you get to fight... guy X - say - 3 times in a row. Now, if you're to fight differently abled peeps in the game you might win (or lose small amount of hp to your lil legend), but X guy is already in god mode cos - wait, we're still in the casino, right? - got luckier than most and now sits on top of 2-3 star 3 champs with 2 of them fully itemized optimally and just mops the floor with you. So, you get eliminated, so what? Well, you could have survived few more rounds losing little to no hp to other guys, but the roulette croupier decided "Heck! I'll F you over!"

Now, if only I was the one saying these things or peeps grieving, bitching, moaning etc. I would've said F*ck me! But when folks at the high end of this competitive environment say the exact same thing it might give you - Riot - a heads up on what to improve on... say RANDOMNESS!?!

Cheers!

P.S.: Oh, I forgot to get out of the casino, but check this out: traits and items have chances too!!! Sweet, huh? :D
