Cannot Start Client

My wife and I have identical model pc's. Today when we went to play League of Legends the client process starts (I can see it in the task manager) then abruptly shuts down. In other words the client wont' start at all on either of our pc's (it was working yesterday and we havn't touched the pc's since then).

Something like this happened previously and I remember to fix it we had to actually flash update our BIOS....

Please anyone from Riot some insight would be very welcome...
