0LP for 1st place

I am just wondering if I'm the only one that ever got this problem? I have placed 1st and got 0lp, none, not a single lp gain for 1st place.

I'm getting annoyed that these things are becoming consistent as well.

I also played a game where I placed 4th and lost lp.

So came 1st got 0lp, came 4th lost lp.

I find this extremely unfair and I wish riot clarify why they are doing that
