Trying to Crawl out of ELO Hell :(

So, I'm not necessarily looking for a team to play ranked with, so much as I am looking for a player who loves to help others learn. My boyfriend and I are very average players. We're not the best -- though we used to be better than we are -- and we really strive to get better at the game. I've progressively gotten worse and worse, which happens often; I do well for some time and then just fall off for a while and it comes in waves like that. I'm just looking for someone to help me better understand key elements to the game so that I can feel confident when playing ranked. I only ever played three ranked games -- and lost two of them. If someone wants to help us out we would greatly appreciate it; and if we feel we've truly improved, free skins would be included!
