So the game is a different beast when playing solo q verses 5s. In 5s you are used to people following directions and team work. Individual performance did not matter as much since you could work with your other lanes. Basically the whole can be greater than the 5 individual players.
Well none of that happens in solo q. Solo q is about what plays you can make to snowball your team. Taking objectives is great as long as you can read the map movements of the enemy. No one is going to be watching your back and giving you a heads up all the time. Understanding the vision game is about placing wards and when you do not see anyone still on the map knowing what they are going anyways.
Also in solo Q knowing when to move and gank is really important. Moving into another persons lane without being asked and actually helping them is a skill a lot of players have.
You need to realize that you are playing with low silvers. You may be good enough to play in gold or even plat, but your team mates may not be able to do what you expect of them. Sure berjson could of made every follow up, but these people are not him. try to make basic plays and take small advantages. Also remember that in every game your with new people and that they are going to look at you just another silver player(no respect). They are not going to always listen to another silver scrub.
I could mentor you but i am not really patient. (ask my group). I tend to get frustrated with my friends when they fail to preform cause they are just having fun.
