Platinum 3s player LF solo queue duo
I'm a platinum 3s player (silver solo queue) who mains top lane but can play any role, although I prefer not to jungle. I'm looking for a serious duo or two to make a big push here at the end of the season. A bit about me:
Strengths - laning, awareness, objective control, early-mid game team-fighting and knowledge Weaknesses - late game aggression, mid-late game initiation and decision making
Quick summary - I've played ranked 3s to platinum MMR and that's made me very strong in the early to mid game. My biggest mistake is that I assume my teammates are on the same level as me when it comes to team-fight awareness and spotting enemy mistakes. This sometimes leads to me making decisions expecting a certain response from my team and when we aren't on the same page it goes poorly.
Ideally, I'd like to find someone like myself with experience playing on ranked teams (3s or 5s), who just hasn't played a lot of solo queue this season and is capable of climbing very quickly. Last season I played nearly a third of my solo queue games the last two days of the season because I was grinding 3s MMR the last month. I went from silver V to silver I in two days before clamping ended my push a few hours short.
This season my 3s MMR is a lot higher so I don't need to grind this last month so instead I'm going to make an actual push for solo queue so my ranked teammates can stop poking fun at me for being a skilled player in silver. I managed to not decay to silver V this season so I'm nearly silver III and I'll likely be gold after this weekend.
Schedule-wise I work M-F until around 5pm central so I'll mainly be looking to play on the weekends and a bit in the evening during the week. Please post your info (role, experience, availability) below and add me in game (let me know you're a duo, I get a lot of random adds from 3v3).
Keep in mind I'm going to climb fast, so it won't work if you're below me in rank unless you're a high MMR smurf and can prove it. Also, please don't be offended if we play and I remove you after a few games. I have a lot of people on my friends list and if we aren't on the same skill level or don't work well together I don't want to waste your time or mine.
