So I've been reading up about these "League's" that everyone is starting to partake in in which you have a team that continually battles for the top rankings in a long, drawn-out tournament and my interest has been captured. I used to play ranked 5's alot during seasons 4-5 and I have played so many premade tournaments that they have become stale and I want something more. If you want a serious midlaner who knows what hes doing, please make sure to read through this entire thread as all of the information is vital.
Main things I want before joining a team: -I want all practices and what not to be sometime between 4:00 and 10:00 PM EST. I do not like playing the game later than that, personal preference and quality of life, although on Fridays/ Saturdays I will comply to later times within reason. -Team organizer should have an excel doc with champs and should have teamcomps planned out (I DO NOT like bsing teamcomps). -I would like the main shotcaller to be either the support or jungler (I do not want to be the lead shotcaller as it is very distracting to shotcall from midlane).
Pros of me: -Very flexible schedule due to the fact that I am a university student, although my summer A is a bit packed but nothing too extreme. -I'd say I am a pretty talented midlaner with a lot of growth potential (my main issue is that I don't think I play this game enough to rank up and consistently play against higher level players, although i'm fairly confident in my ability to do so over the season). This would actually likely fully recapture my interest in league of legends which is a lot of why I want to try it out. -I have an extremely huge midlane champion pool due to developing it over the years. -I don't like to flake out of something i'm committed to once i'm already committed to it. -I am in love with the idea of perfect teamcomp synergy, which is a large part of the reason that i've always enjoyed 5's.
Cons of me: -I play on an EST time zone (this would be an issue no matter what, since I can't anticipate what everyone else's time zones would be). This might impact my ability to play with a pacific team if they already plan to play late enough, becuase i'm not going to practice from 10:00 to 1:00 in the middle of the night. -Sometimes I get a bit tilted and generally when this occurs, I prefer to demic to prevent myself from tilting everyone else (I tend to rant a lot about the current meta and structural issues with league when i'm losing which most don't seem to like). Keep in mind that this DOES NOT mean that I am separating myself from all comms, and I will still listen and follow orders as needed. -Sometimes I don't agree with certain teamcomps (for example, I do not like to play orianna that much unless absolutely needed). I'm a more carry style midlaner than I am a second support. Same goes for lulu. This doesn't mean I won't play them ever, but I will not be taking part on a team that demands them always.
Now for my favorite part, the Champion Pool (in no particular order):

*Please keep in mind you will not get the full idea for how much I play each champion from this account alone, as I have quite a few similar-elo smurfs.
Here are the highlights from my champ pool:
By far my best champion. Do not let my winrate currently fool you; a lot of those games were when he had a lot of bugs right at the start of the season and he was much harder to make work than he is now. I have been playing Azir since early 2015 and have several accounts dedicated to him (smurfs), which is why mastery points on this account alone don't really do much justice to how much I have played him. Beyond just soloqueue, Azir's utility in a team environment is unmatched, and I will change my name back to King Spork or something else just to make sure that the League players don't automatically ban off my Azir (which happens a lot in tournaments).
Probably my most successful 5's champion. Lissandra got me to diamond last season, and although her kit is quite simple its all about timing. I have mastered when and on what to use my ultimate and i'd say she will be a threat to anything and everything we play against.
Although I have not played him enough on here, i've recently had a lot of success playing him on my gold smurf and, while i've always played him occasionally, I want him to be my main go to AD champion. Yasuo is very good for 5's due to his synergization with teamcomps, and I love playing PD yasuo right now (amazing item on him).
Cassiopeia is statistically my best soloqueue champion over the last couple seasons, and i'm willing to wager that it is because of her insane carry potential when mastered mixed with her ability to burn tanks. I fear for what the rework will do to my favorite snake, but until then I will utilize her to her full potential. I think she is good in 5's for the same reason Azir is, if theres a team we need to kite around and deal a lot of consistent damage to.
So there you have it. If you are interested in having me as your midlaner, please go ahead and send me a friend request in game and also post on here. If I don't accept the friend request immediately it might mean I am on a smurf account, but I log on Drift God frequently throughout the day so it shouldn't be a problem.
Thanks,
-Drift
