[High Silver-Gold] NRM Gaming is recruiting competition hungry gamers like you!
This is going to be a long post so bear with me. Application is down below
Hi, I'm Scrappy, and I'm pretty active on these forums. I've been hunting for a real team for months now. It's been seriously tiring and quite frankly, just sad. Too many teams fall apart after a rough promo series, after one player leaves, or a lost scrimmage. And because of this, last year I made NRM Gaming with my friends. Playing on this team was some of the most fun I've had playing League of Legends. Eventually we were disbanded, due to irl stuff.
A month or two later, I decided to relive that experience, and decided to recruit players that shared my same vision to the team. These players were hungry competitiors. It was inspiring and I was so concerned about my ability to lead these players that it kept me up at night. Ultimately, I wasn't the leader that I needed to be. After that experience, I learned how hard it was to lead a team that actually wants to go places, and compete in real tournaments.
Now, I want to prove to myself that I'm capable of finding a strong group of competitors. Fill out this application or add me in game (NRM ScRappY) and have a word with me.
Role: Rank: Champion Pool: Age: Experience with a team (No right or wrong answer): Strengths: Weaknesses: Why you want to join: Timezone (We'll discuss schedules and such later):
This is going to be a serious team with a serious goals and ambitions. I'm sick and tired of trying to find a team in my elo that actually sticks together past promotions. Everybody wants to be in a team, but nobody knows what being in a team actually means
In my opinion, this is what being in an eSports team means:
You treat your teammates like close friends and family You communicate, not just in game, but outside of the game You make goals for the team and yourself You actually try to accomplish your goals You don't disband/leave the team after you go 0-5 in a promo series And most of all, have fun with it
NEGETIVITY DOES NOTHING BUT BRING THE WHOLE TEAM DOWN. THIS IS A PROVEN FACT. BE POSITIVE, AND YOU CAN EXPECT POSITIVE RESULTS.
Age: 18
Experience with a team (No right or wrong answer): I have played all roles on various ranked teams throughout my time playing league. Every one had promise of being serious but one person would leave leading to an avalanche of the team being disbanded.
Strengths: Watching the map, keeping vision in our favor, making objective calls
Weaknesses: calling out targets in a fight, knowing when to farm and gank (this is more in solo q than anything but its still a weakness i have), trying to learn too many champs at a time.
Why you want to join: I have been looking for a serious team that wants to win and grow as a family rather than a rag tag group of strangers.
Timezone (We'll discuss schedules and such later): Mountain time
