I would love to have some help with adc...I am pretty new to playing the role, and would rather fix mistakes now before they become bad habits. I love the role it is by far my most favorite. I have been really into Ashe lately, but I own all adc champions, and would not be against playing a more meta champion. I am working on my cs, during lane I do pretty ok, but after that is when I fell I lose cs. Maybe I am not roaming right or maybe to much. I just would like to understand mid to late game and my role in team fights, and positioning. I really want to understand and learn. I am willing to put the wrench work in, and take it seriously. Please add me if you are as serious, and will actually play and help me. I have asked for help before and I got some pretty general advice that I already know. I read guides, and watch videos and pro games.

I feel I am at a point where I will take my play to the next level....I hope this make sense. I hit a point like this before. I was doing poorly in games, but then I hit a shift where things just started making sense. I started understanding champions, and their abilities. Map awareness, and understanding the flow of the game to a point. It was like someone flipped a switch and things started making sense. I fell I am at that point again. Just a few mechanical changes or a different way to look at the strategy of the game maybe. I really hope I am not sounding weird with this, but it is the only way I can describe it.

Thanks for your time.

If you are pretty new to the role.

You can probably absorb information and correct mistakes from just analyzing fundamentals.

Figure out those fundamentals, then contrast correct exercise of those fundamentals, with how you're exercising them yourself in game.

ADC players need to pay attention at all points in the game.

They are a highly sought out target in every game, and at the same time.. they are required to do the plucking for your own team in order to win fights / objectives.

So staying alive is your #1 priority and minimizing death count as a player overall will show your promise in improving. If you're dead, you can't dish out damage for your teams plays. If you're alive, and you have no focus on when to act, you're as good as a dead adc.

Look at trading stance. AA Range efficiency. Reading the lane and chipping away at your opponent with every possible opportunity they give. Managing information in your head about roams / jungler positions. Because bot is probably the most, if not only place 4 man ganks happen now.

After laning phase, you move to macro on the map. Now you have to figure out how to maintain CS / EXP as the game progresses and how to setup side lanes to give your team a chance to move on an objective or play.

There's plenty more to go on. But you can't figure even the fundamentals out, then maybe you need to work on that instead. No one is going to hold your hands all the way up to Diamond+ Master+

So work on figuring things out yourself. There's a lot of information out there, but that doesn't mean it will do the job for your specific case.

Going through your match history your build is flat wrong. You can get a whole lot of mileage at your level just by using a cookie cutter build. People talk badly about cookie cutter builds a lot but believe me, they'll get the job done just fine in low elos and you probably dont have the game knowledge yet to build to meet different situations, which is fine. But also I would start playing alot more ranked and just try to get experience. Sometimes you just gotta put yourself out there and suck at something for awhile until you figure it out. If you have any specific questions im sure someone can answer them if you ask on the forum, but mentoring someone with so few games in bronze 3 wouldn't really be that beneficial, you just gotta get some experience imo. If you need an idea of how basic mechanics work for adc'ing you can watch much better players than who will respond to you here playing on twitch/youtube. But the most basic task of the adc that you're trying to pull off is pretty simple, maximizing your damage on to the highest priority target you can get to without putting yourself into threat zone of someone who can pick you, the rest is just understanding peoples threat zones, knowing which targets are your highest priorities, the rapid click mechanics like auto spacing and animation canceling, and being able to keep up with everything going on in a fight.

I understand what you were and are saying. I guess I was looking at it wrong. I do see what you mean though. I will look more over replays. Seems like right now in lane I am focusing on cs and map awareness. I guess I was asking what key points if any should I be looking at. There is so much to take in...it seems like my brain is a shot glass and i am getting a gallon of info. I guess it comes off like I am looking for the easy route. To an extent I guess I was.....I know thats not possible. I was just asking for where to start 1st i guess. I try to learn for my mistakes and not jump into situations I know will be a death for me, but every game and situation is different, and the more I play the more fore thought I will have to stay back out of that mess. I was not trying to be snippy or come across liek I wanted to be carried. I just want to improve. I will take what you said Analyze your deaths.

Analyze the times you've lost lanes. Analyze the times where you've lost trades. Check if you're positioning correctly. Harassing correctly.

and look at my replays. Again sorry if I came off like a douche last thing I wanted to do.

Also I know where to find info. I just thought I would go to the forums and ask for a more personal point in the right direction. Again thanks

Hello, If you are interested in insight on your role I wouldn't mind looking into games with you. I'm currently gold, I've spent a lot of time in bot lane in previous seasons - though that doesn't mean I myself am good at the game or the lane but I've been playing for a long time. I'm getting into coaching and I've studied fundamentals in the game and core concepts that most would expect to be needed to get better at the game. I don't play a whole lot of ADC but I'd definitely be willing to take a look at you if that's what you're looking for.
