It's exactly what everyone's been asking for, and it's fun if you aren't a whiny moron. The supposedly massive influx of flaming is, quite simply, hyperbole. Once, every so often, there is someone who derides a champion pick. Just as there is in every mode. If your butt is so massively hurt by this, I suggest some thicker underwear.

The emergent meta, in which a handful of champions are the strongest, is inevitable and happens in every game mode. That said, it is still absolutely possible to do well with a wide variety of champs - meaning individual skill still trumps champion pick. So, unless you are at the absolute highest tier of play, and champion optimization is a non-issue for you, spend less time bitching about the meta and more time learning to play better.

Oh, for those of you who actually propose that we shouldn't have the game mode at all - here's a small piece of advice, free of charge: DON'T. FUCKING. PLAY. IT. Are you that big of a tool? Does the very existence of a game mode you find unfavorable bother you to such an extent, that you have to propose denying it to everyone else?

This fucking forum. This is why we can't have, haven't had, and will continue to not have, nice things.

Well, you come off as kinda an asshole, but I agree with your main point. I really havent got a lot of flack for champ pick, and i've gone really positive with a few comps. team combos, with friends, are also really really strong - you can figure out some pretty amazing combos with abilitys on 1 sec CDs. Its really fun to try out stuff, and yeah I just cant believe all these complainers.

It's probably all bronze people that have had these problems. In bronze people tend to question your champion picks, even in normals. "The LCS didn't do it! Play these champs because they're OP!"

No idea why people cry about URF being bad.

I played it last year, played it a ton this year (over 60 games and counting), and the only flame I received were from shitters about my Olaf pick. nothing out of the norm from other game modes.
