Idea for Featured Game Mode

So there have been numerous game modes in the past that try and inspire champion diversity (nemesis draft, doom bots, etc) and add a nice mix of play to the standard. I propose an idea for such a featured game mode; I think it would be a nice change of pace have a team of champions all from their origins/factions. That is, you could only have a team comprised of champions all from Noxus or all Zaun or Ionia or Freljord and so on.

I think it could work like draft mode only instead of a 'ban' phase you have an allegiance phase where the party leader would select which faction (and thus champions) their team would have to choose from. Then after that it would be a standard champion select only now from a much smaller pool. This would lead to some interesting team compositions aside from the standard meta as some factions would have a smaller champion pool to work with and force players to certain champions they don't normally play or roles that might not be suited for that champion.

I recognize certain factions may have a smaller champion pool or only 5-10 champions (at a glance Void only has 7) to choose from that don't fit the meta and people might never play those groups. To counter this I think a small IP boost incentive could be put in place for those willing to go the unpopular route and play a more challenging group of champs, say 10% for groups with smaller champ pools or up to 50% for groups with very rigid champion pool.

There is also a very large number of 'Independent' champions and I think they could either be their own group or they could be playable to groups that don't have enough champions to fill a team. Mt. Targon, for example, only has 3 champions Leona, Diana, and Pantheon. So to play that faction you would have to have at least those 3 plus 2 independent champions of your choice.

So yeah I think it could be an interesting take on how to select champions and foster either new roles for champions or new team comps that will mix things up a bit. Thanks for reading have a cookie , now what do you think?

Alternatively... and quite possibly a bit more arbitrarily, I had a thought about separating champs based on what they are. For example, humans, humanoids, beasts, or other and having a team of those. Also, could separate by what their lore says, so you could have a group of 'intellectuals' like Singed, WW, Heimer, vel'koz, and mundo or a group of robots or something. Just a thought!
