Is there any good reason to have a Dominion game mode when only one map uses it? Wouldn't it make more sense (and be less confusing to new players) to just have a Crystal Scar, instead of Dominion + Crystal Scar when they're one and the same?
It's not like they're ever going to make another map that uses Crystal Scar's rules, so what's the point?

I don't think you understood what the OP was talking about. Also calling Dominion a mode to waste time in is a bit insulting to people like the OP who play competitively, and are in the top MMR bracket (2000+)

Sure players play it competitively, and that's them, not me. I love dominion, but hate what it's become. and It's my bad on my side. didn't quite read what he meant.
Edit: and who knows, maybe riot will make another map that follows the same rules...I doubt it though.

I think everybody knows they won't. That might have been their intention originally, but Dominion didn't take off and it's definitely not going to evolve into anything new.
