I wonder if the markings of the ground mean anything

First off I want to say the new Rift looks beautiful and great work!

With all the new visuals, I wonder if some of them are possibly hints to maybe new champions. I know that in Howling Abyss had several easter eggs on in including the shape of Lissandra at the spawn and the "watcher" on the gates. The Riot staff has already said that there are several easter eggs on SI. Could the new markings in the new spawns give hints? Or maybe some of the new small statues? I don't know, just a thought. :)
