I like the old summoner's rift much more than the new one. The jungle monsters look very ugly and the terrain is so plain. The colors are very pale and the graphics are not better, just different. I just like dragon and baron better. Great fail by Riot once again!

I agree with the colors being pale but they stated that it was intentional, for the main focus to be on the other champions. Environment < Champions < User-Interface, the color scheme was designed that way on purpose for clarity.
The graphics were not suppose to be better, it was suppose to make the map new and fresh but also still able to run for low-end users. As stated, they did not want the game to look old and have those blocky textures and polygons to show.
I agree 100%. I do not like the new map. The pale/dull/lifeless map is supposedly intentional, which just seems like a horrible design decision. I also think my champions look weird on it, like two clashing art styles that do not belong together.
As for running better on low end computers... Well it does not. My GF plays LoL on a $200 netbook. She has never had problems on the old SR, averaging 20-30 FPS on low settings with no real slowdowns during team-fights. On the new map she is getting LOWER FPS and the texture/map looks awful.
