This tribunal is a joke!!!

Got reported for offensive language 3 games in a row after i muted everybody in the game as soon as it started. Not sure how not saying a word is considered offensive language. This tribunal is broken as fuck!!!

I used to not get reported for verbal abuse/offensive language when i muted everybody and not talk but i guess now riot considers silence as offensive language.

People can report you for whatever they want.

That doesn't mean that the reports are valid or will have any affect on your account.

The warnings are automated and display occasionally after you are reported. It has nothing to do with punishment; it just means people have been reporting you.

How does anyone know that the reports you talk of are not for games you played before ? Does anyone know for a fact that the popup comes up after every game you get reported in? Right after you get reported, I mean it could be a meaningless chance.

I have to remind everyone that a person could get reported for something else: say for IE e-mote spamming the whole game and not know what to report it under so goes with verbal...I AM Not accusing you of this OP !!

I have read countless threads on how to annoy people without saying a word. So, when a thread like this comes up and people start the " FU Riot Your Free games sucks !!! even though nothing has happened yet" forgive me if I want something more...

It's possible on this new section that you could get an answer to this question were it worded a bit different or who know as is might get attention also, anyway as the others have given you some good advice I won't add to that part, GL and have fun playing if you can op. :)

I'd suggest informing your team mates at the beginning of the match, that you prefer to communicate through pings, and won't be available on chat :)

How do you know you got reported?

Maybe this wouldn't be a problem if Riot brought back the tribunal. The tribunal has been down all last season and I'm not convinced anything is being done to address the worst of the worst because there's no way of knowing if anyone is working on it. We need the tribunal back and it ought to be a top priority of Riot as they do this preseason stuff.

Pregame/post game.

I honestly have zero trust in riot so i do believe i will eventually get punished for no reason. This is one of the worst companies that exists in the world.

I can think of another reason where a player might get a report after a game they said nothing in.

I think hard and long if a person deserves a report before giving one often waiting 10-15 mins. after the game is over and everyone is done talking. Then I try to find the right thing to put it under and decide what to say. Meaning that someone I report would most likely get the report I sent in after another game. Food for thought.

If you really aren't saying anything then you don't have anything to worry about. Any punishments are checked by a human before being enacted (other than leavebuster)

There is no tribunal? And getting reported is not the same as getting punished.

I got the warning after every game and I was like wtf I didn't say a word all game. This is so stupid.

Did you warn them that you're ignoring them? I did this once and got reported by the guy I blocked. He also trolled and got everyone to report me. His logic was all I have to do is unblock him and he'll stop trolling. So apparently everyone felt I was responsible for his behavior.
