Twisted Treeline - game length creeping up

So let me start out by saying i love the new update to the Twisted Treeline map. I mainly play 3's and I enjoy seeing my favorite map getting some love and attention. Having played TT for over a year and a half though, I did notice one glaring change with the update. My game lengths have almost doubled! Anyone else?? That extra turret sure seems to drag the early game out. I know some of the changes were made to prevent some of the snowballing. But still... I've always appreciated the quick natured TT gameplay. I don't love that every game seems to drag out to almost 30 minutes.

Anyone else agree?? Do you think this will be the new normal game length for TT?
