Setting Up Pick the amount of players, 2v2-5v5. Both teams pick a Referee to ask the questions. Go to Summoners Rift. Visit League of Legends Trivia website (Does it exist? Who knows!?)

How To Play Have a Referee pick a number between 1 and 10, which the players will guess at to determine who gets to be the captain. The players on each team will take turns answering questions. You may get help from your team, only for the second and third guess. The person who answers the question correctly gets to kill the jungle camp, being leashed by his teammates. If you get the answer wrong in 3 guesses the other team gets 3 guesses to steal and you do not get to kill or move on from your camp. If both teams get it wrong then you both get to kill the jungle camp. (Lets not drag the game on forever, right.)

The Players Captain, Ward, Referee, Extra, Extra -You are allowed to roam all over the map to ward between questions, but you must move back to the camp as soon as the question is being asked. (This only allows you a short time between when the question is answered and when the referee asks the question.) -No attacking enemy champions before the Referee calls "Battle Time!", or ,"Encounter!". -No stealing the winners exp or gold -No pushing any lanes whatsoever without earning the prize. -Please no Wikipedia browsing! -Item bans? Meh.

Captain The Captain of the team stays at the camp. The Captain also is in charge of the teams decisions.

Ward The ward is free to roam the map to gather intel on the enemy teams position. However, The Ward is only allowed to move between the time the last question was answered, for the time it takes them to kill the jungle camp and move to the next camp, until the next question is asked.

Referee The Referee's will begin by sitting in the middle lane and gathering experience as they take turns selecting difficult questions to stump the enemy team with. They are not allowed to kill any minions. During "Turret Siege!", "Encounter!" and "Battle Time!" you will move to the lanes and jungles to participate in the battle with their team! If your team wins a "Turret Siege!", the Referee gets to camp that lanes turret to prevent minion wave pushback until the next "Encounter" occurs. The Referee can attack the minions, only to weaken them, and tank the damage for the turret but should not ever be killing creeps. (It wouldnt be fair for the referee's to compete in CS because they will be looking at questions and typing for most of the game. You should pick a champion with good sustain as you are required to solo the dragon and baron to some extent. Warwick, Fiora, Master Yi, any ADC or tank... I'm sure you know.

How to Win Pick your gamemode;

  1. Siege the Nexus: Win simply by destroying more turrets and allowing minions to destroy the enemy Nexus. Estimated time 1 hour.
  2. Battle Series: Win by defeating your opponents in a series of "Battle Time!" engagements. Play best 2 of 3, or best 3 of 5.

Moving Around the Map Pick your gamemode;

  1. Linear: Each team gets to pick where they start, at either wolves or wraiths and they pick by voting. If either camp is has not spawned then you are forced to choose the other side. But the teams MUST proceed around their side in the order of the camps from inside to outside; always in this order; Wolves - Blue - Gromp - Option - Back, or Raptors - Red - Krugs - Option - Back. You MUST kill each camp before moving around the game board.
  2. Chance: Another possibility is to roll dice to move around the jungle camps instead of moving through one by one, this would randomize the battle encounters, buffs and the ability to move from Gromp/Krugs top/bot lane turret.

Option After winning the round at Krugs or Gromp and killing the camp you have the option to move to your choice of the following:

  1. The top/bottom (closest) lane to siege/defend the turret,

  2. Invade the opposite enemy buff camp for a chance to steal their buff next round or encounter and battle the enemy team!

  3. Back and Start the other side of your jungle (Wolves/Raptors).

  4. Moving to the Turret You MAY NOT kill any minions before correctly answering the question, but you will benefit from the minion experience. If you get the question right, the Referee will yell, "Turret Siege!". Your team has 10 seconds to push the wave and turret as much as they possibly can. If the enemy Referee is in the lane defending then they are fair game as well!

  5. Moving to the Enemy Jungle If you encounter the enemy team you must battle in that quadrant of the jungle! If you encounter a missing jungle camp then you miss a turn! If you encounter a buff camp then you get a chance to invade and steal the enemy buff on your next question. After taking the enemy jungle camp your team will Back.

  6. Backing Your entire team, including the Referee, will back to heal and shop after a; Turret Siege, Encounter, Jungle Steal or Battle Time, Dragon or Baron. They will then move to Wolves or Raptors to begin a new round.

Encounter! No questions will be asked this turn! When moving into lane or the enemy jungle the first person to see an enemy champion must stop immediately and yell, "Encounter!". The Referee will then echo, "Encounter!", signifying the beginning of the battle! (Just like the old RPG's.) The battle lasts as long as both teams are alive and willing to fight. You may do as much damage to the turret/jungle camp as possible during the battle. After winning an encounter in a lane, or after the enemy team forfeits, you have an additional 10 seconds to siege the wave and turret. -Both Referees may participate in Encounter! if they wish, or stay in their current lane. -Encounter lasts until one team's Referee yells, "Forfeit!", or when all the enemy champions have been killed once or retreated. -You may not heal/shop at the fountain during an encounter.
-You may not rejoin the battle after you have been killed in it. -If an Lane Encounter is won the Referee gets to guard that turret until the next Encounter.

Turret Siege! When a team wins an Encounter in lane or Correctly answers a question in an unopposed lane; the Referee will yell, "Turret Siege!". Your team then has only 10 seconds to push the minions and turret as hard as possible. The Referee participates in Turret Siege! in the lane they are currently standing. Referees may defend Sieges and fight other Referees in the same lane as them during Turret Siege!.

Battle Time!

  1. Fighting in mid lane during battle time: At the end of each 10 minute timer the Referee calls,"Battle Time!", and everyone must rush to mid lane to battle! You may use the jungle lanes and river adjacent to the mid lane but not the whole map. The winner of the battle gets to siege mid turret for 10 seconds. If playing a Battle Series then during the final battle the Referee will yell, "Battle to the Death!" You may forfeit the battle if you wish to prevent the other team from earning extra kills except during the final "Battle to the Death!"
  2. Encounter in the jungle: As soon as your team gains sight of the enemy team you must stop and yell, "Encounter!" No questions will be asked this round. The referee will echo, "Encounter!", indicating the battle may begin now. The teams may battle freely ONLY in the jungle/river on the quadrant of the jungle they are currently in. Both teams must stay out of the lanes. The winning team gets to farm the jungle camp. The challenged team may forfeit the battle at any time.

At the end of a battle begin a new 10 minute timer.

Forfeit During any type of battle your team's Referee may yell, "Forfeit!" to end the war and prevent the enemy from getting too large a lead. After "Backing" you may then chose, once again, to start at wolves/wraiths. If either camp is not spawned then you are forced to choose the other side.

Dragon The dragon is a random event that can occur at any point in the game after the 10 minute mark. Dragon MUST be initiated by the teams Referee IMMEDIATELY AFTER BACKING. The Referee will yell, "Dragon Fight!" Each team will rush to the dragon and battle it out to try and steal it. You may retreat at any time, or forfeit.

Baron? Idea #1: Baron Snipers! At 30 minutes a Referee yells, "Baron?", and each team picks 2 players to attempt to snipe the baron as the referees attack and tank as much damage as possible before they die.
-You may only attack the baron and dodge his skills.
-You may cast AOE/Chain target spells directly on the baron.
-You may not attack the Referee's directly. -Whoever has superior baron stealing skills WINS THE BARON! Idea #2: Shootout at Baron Pit! Each player of your team picks a number in line and you take turns going head to head 1v1 style in the north river with the enemy lineup! At the end of the shoot out all the players who didn't die in the shootout get to battle for baron.

The Questions Questions may be any of the following categories: Spell Details: Name, Cooldown, Base damage, Damage ratio/type, Level up statistics, Mana/energy costs, Cast range Champion Details: Lore, IP/RP Cost, Release order/date Map Details: Camp buffs, Buff timers, Minion stats Item Details: Costs, Composition, Bonus stats And on and on and on.

Anyone care to add some rules or ideas? That's all I care to come up with tonight. I was inspired by the old Battle.net Starcraft and Diablo 2 trivia bots which taught me a lot about the details of all the different heros in the game. I put a few hours into this and a lot of thought so I hope it is appreciated and I hope I can actually play this game one day!

Sounds like a pretty cool idea. However, the League of Legends lore is so bad I would never waste the time to learn any of it.

So.... Now that I've created this amazing board game I hope riot expands into the board game market with this model. Also I'd love to finish the details and earn commission on the product. Its a 27 million dollar idea.
