Large Scale PVP
With as many champs as we have in the game, it would be really fun to see a large scale pvp map, maybe a capture the flag style mode with 10 or 20 on each team

Sadly, this would absolutely wreak the server. It would be nearly impossible to do it as an actual mode for all to play.

If you think that sounds fun, you could maybe check out this game, Das Tal. It takes MOBA combat type mechanics, but puts you in a very large MMO-style map. There are resources to collect, you can build bases, have clan battles, etc.

I'm going to have to agree with TurquoiseYoshi on this one. Mass PvP would be chaotic good fun, but whether or not Riot would be able to support that many players in one game instance is cause for concern. Plus if your team has a couple people drop (say, your support/healers) it could cripple the bulk of the team or at the very least put them at a disadvantage. Additionally, if you're thrown in via solo queue with a bunch of other players, first everyone needs to actually accept the game (you could go through the 'accept match' process countless times before you actually get a full group of 20 people paying attention) then pick their champions without one failing to do so, then once in the game (assuming everyone loads successfully) there will surely be more than one person attempting to claim leadership and calling shots, which will further divide the teams and kill any semblance of "strategy" in-game.
Then again, if you make the map nothing more than one big open battlefield such that less thought is needed, it might actually work. "Kill the other guys" is a pretty simple concept that doesn't require leadership on a large scale, and people can split off into squads to focus down enemy champs. It could work... but it's not likely to.
Just my random thoughts.
