Bonus IP for roles that are hard to fill in team builder
As many people will agree with me, it is a very long wait to find some roles in team builder, support in specific. I propose that there be a small incentive to que up as these roles. The bonus will only trigger when there is a high demand for a role (such as jung support ect), and will not if there is an equalish balance between role ques.
Perhaps a 10-15% bonus IP for roles that are hard to fill. It doesn't seem like much but with 100 IP a win and 10 games a day it could add up very quickly. Since the reward is kinda small players who don't want to support aren't honestly losing out, but those who do are compensated for helping with wait times. An added benefit is that it will help new players get champs they want, runes ect. (My irl friends that are new to league like to support ironically)
While team builder is literally que the role and champion you want to play, some roles makes teams wait 10 minutes (even 20 in some cases) to even form up. My reasoning behind this is that its not forcing you to do anything or play a role, just a reward for being a team player in a role YOU PICKED.
Don't want to do a role that? Don't! Play the one you want! To many trolls such as a trundle support? Kick him and maybe the wait time wont be 5 minutes until another troll support comes up! Maybe supports that will be more beneficial to your team comp will pop up and faster due to an incentive to get a slight reward.
One of my friends, and a stranger I met in a game had a similar flaw that they pointed out. What happens if a person just wants the bonus IP and has no idea how to support well? There is an obvious difference in those who main support (or play it often) and those who are just looking for a quick que and win of the day bonus. My answer to that is the match making system that is in place. Ive never fought a D1 player in a normal game (other than friends), so someone who is B5 and wants to support or jungle in que wont be paired with a D1 adc ect.
