Gamemode Idea! Build-a-Champ!

Hey there, This is my own personal take on the Build-a-champ Idea and how it should work out if you have any ideas to balance this out more or any comments in general feel free to give any suggestions! (The attachment was also an idea of how I think the promotional art should look like!)

Anywho I think this gamemode's champ select should work like draft pick, each team bans champions 6 champions in total, except to balance people from 'Frankensteing' the ultimate killing machine the 6 champions that the teams have banned will be the kits they're able to alter. So for example you can't take Yasuo's ult if he isn't picked. This creates a unique concept to make sure how op each team wants the match to be as the other team can easily mirror them. After each champion is chosen, each summoner has to pick the base for their champion so if you choose Teemo and he's been chosen by either team, you'll get his base stats and model or skin depending if you own one. Lastly once the base champion is chosen each summoner has a minute to throw their kits together to create the ultimate murder machine while given time to choose their runes and masteries.

Anyway I believe this gamemode if ever added to the game would definitely be amazingly fun, without end to the crazy combinations that people can create, at if anybody from Riot is reading this please try to bring this idea to consideration! Think of how much fun this would be! But anyway I hope you all enjoyed the read, and remember to leave any ideas below! ~Sirdoofus

Akin to Dota 2's Ability Draft? The unfortunate reality is that certain kit-bashes would dominate; a tier system would quickly formulate and establish itself.

But with about 500 abilities to work with, that would honestly take quit a while. It's not something like URF Mode where we have a clear idea because the kits are set and the precedent is established.

Although Zilean's W would have to be excluded from all of this.

Dota 2 works around this. It presents a limited pool of champions to choose from.

I'm just here thinking the amount of man hours needed to code, animate, balance and debug every single skill on every single champion and I realize that this is never going to happen

Like I mentioned earlier, to save time they might as well recycle the channeling animation and add puffs of smoke for certain spells to make this possible.

wouldn't riot have to make custom animations for every champ with every ability for this to work?

Oh I forgot to mention, they'll probably just use their channeling animations to make up for that. It's the simplest answer, and will save days of work.

ahhhh isn't auto-correct just demonic

ADC vs Rengar1 votes

this would be cool, but very challenging due to the fact that some champions use mana, some use energy, Rengar gets stacks from using abilities to gain a stronger ability, Aatrox has blood pool, and Gnar andShyvana earn their ult by landing abilities.

That'll probably fit into the base champion when it comes to secondary bars. Spells from champions like Nami will be having a cow when it comes to having no costs. Heh.

Maybe when Riot meets their goal of having no spaghetti code this game mode would become possible. As it is I think each ability has so many direct interactions with the specific champion they're on that this would just be too big of a mess to create. Once each thing is more modular they would be able to mix and match.
