Hey Riot, Can we get more bots to face?

Out of all 124 champs only 54 are available to fight as bots. That means approximately a new player can only learn to fight against the basic skill sets of 43.5% of all champions in League.

I realize this is partially appeased with the existence of the free champion rotation, this still does not provide a perfect solution as certain champions have long periods between free rotations while others are up frequently. Not only this but fighting against a champion is much different from playing that champion, as players can have different play styles with the same champion.

I understand that bots can be difficult to program as they need to be intelligent to know how to use their abilities effectively as well as when to run away or kite. However if you're a new player and only learn how to fight a small (i say small cause of the off builds champions have making them essentially 2 different kinds of the same champ i.e. Full AP Sejuani vs Tank Jungle Sejuani) amount of the league pool, it can be very frustrating when you come across a champion you have zero experience going against. So please Riot, lets get some new bots! Elise, Syndra, Volibear, Jinx come to mind personally.

If bots have say Lee to play with, the new players are doomed.

Unless he is coded to perform very badly which in this case, it's a waste of everybody's time.

Imagine how hilariously awesome it would be to see Singed Bot proxy farming.

I want a Yorick bot. I rarely get to see them. Also maybe a lot of unpopular characters as well.

I'd rather see Advanced AI for a small number of bots than new ones but this is good too.

You wouldn't even need to add a lot of the more complicated champions like Lee Sin. Champions like Lissandra, Vel'Koz and Viktor could use existing AI from characters like Lux, Ryze and Veigar, and even champions like Jayce can be covered since Nidalee Bot kinda knows how to use her spells.

Yorick, Volibear, Viktor, Vel'koz, Varus, Urgot, Twisted Fate (would use Shen's ultimate coding), Sona, Skarner, Singed, Sejuani, Riven, Pantheon, Olaf, Nautilus, Nami, Maoki, Lulu, Lissandra, Kennen, Jayce, Jarvan, Heimerdinger, Gragas, Elise, Diana, Corki, Anivia, Ahri and Aatrox could all be built or partially built off AI that already exists.

I just want that one Cass bot that is apparently unbeatable.

So I'm all for new bots just because it's fun and different and I play bots when I know I need to be done with a game by a certain time and have to leave if I'm not (since no one in bots really minds anyway) and it's also the fastest way to grab that 150 IP for fwotd. However, I don't think it's legit to say that it's to expose people to the champ kits. If you're programing beginner bots they are so far below the level of bronze that there isn't much difference between them and reading the skills definitions online in terms of learning to play against it. In terms of intermediate bots, it's maybe low bronze difficulty, so again, you have champs that don't necessarily reflect play by coding as bots. I mean even low bronze nunu realizes he wins by controlling objectives with consume and playing body guard for adc while he throws blood boil on them. Bots nunu doesn't really do that because it would be hard to code a nunu bot to go sneak dragons, and certain things bots have unfair advantage at or they can't do. Nunu bot can't analyze the patterns of a player and decide if he thinks dragon is warded, but if you code, nunu bot eat dragon if no wards are on it (which it can do better than a person because it can just check game code and know there is no ward) suddenly players who are challenged in any way by intermediate bots are going to be in huge trouble. Lee sin is the same. If you code him to use his kit he will be mechanically stronger than any player who is as bad at making plays as bots lee sin will be. Makes it weird and not useful in a lot of ways.

TLDR; New bots would be cool. Focus on champs that would be fun, not all of them because it really isn't about new players learning anyway if you're adding new bots.

MAKE THE DOOMBOTS PERAMENT! I SHALL BECOME THE KING OF SKILL SHOT DODGING!!!!!!!!!!!

Just saying, IMO add doom bot difficulty without the extra abilities. I mean they jungled a little at least and that diversity in the game. Intermediate isn't enough for anyone looking for a fun challenge. Doom bot difficulty would be a great and fun experience.

Yeah, they'll never get to face a Yorick. The amount of times people have gotten salty when I've played yorick is too high.
