A long map with a bases at each end but the have to capture a crystal or something to score points while farming to earn items and such. junglers can acquire team boosts from certain things to help the teams get advantages such as extra movement speed, extra armor, or double the gold off farm for 60 seconds. Riot defiantly needs new games the classic summoners rift is currently all i like dominion seems pointless and ARAM is no longer fun because of the overpowered and 1 sided team comps

or we could do it on summoners rift and make it where someone has to hide the flag, and the enemy team has to find it and it takes time to capture it like a platform on twisted treeline

Mobility effects are the only issue.

Easy fix for this.

"After using an ability, taking damage will drop the flag." "Using any item or Summoner spell will drop the flag." "If the flag is dropped from using an ability, item or summoner, it cannot be picked up by an ally or yourself for 2 seconds."

This means Kass can still ult away with it. But if someone got an auto off and it follows him, he's going to drop it. It also means damage over time abilities would make his life hell in this sense. There could also be a stacking to this. After 3 abilities within 10 seconds the flag is fully dropped. Teleport summoner will be removed.

Could also make it so any ultimate will drop the flag. Almost would be needed to counter someone like Shen.

As long as mobility skills cannot be used while in the possession of the flag (like any good game that has CTF), then i'd be fine with it.

well... League of legends is dota (defense of the ancients) so only viable map for LoL can only be Summonors rift, everything else is just for fun and cannot be taken seriously.

Otherwise CtF could be pretty cool game mode. Though it would seem more logical to leave out the creeps and jungle, earn exp and gold just for kills and flags.

Game would had set timer and after the timer ran out the game would end. In custom this timer could be changed.
