AP Item Rework Not Being Given to Map Specific Variants?

Has Riot ever come out and explained why when the AP item revamp came through about a week ago, that they wouldn't be adjusting the item variants that have been made for other modes such as Dominion? Just to point out a few,

Rod of Ages (SR): 300 HP - 400 Mana - 60 AP : +20, +40, +4 per minute up to 200, 400, 40 : Restores 150 HP and 200 Mana on level Rod of Ages (CS): 450 HP - 450 Mana - 60 AP : +20, +20, +2 per 40 sec up to 200, 200, 20 : Restores 150 HP and 200 Mana on level

Luden's Echo (SR): 100 AP - 10% Movement Speed : (passive) Luden's Echo (CS): 100 AP - 7% Movement Speed : (passive)

In case anyone's not familiar with the Crystal Scar variants, I will say (and have confirmed by the league wiki) that before the revamp Luden's on Dominion had 100 AP while the Rift's had 120, and RoA had stats more like it's Crystal Scar variant. So when the item changes went through, the alternate variants were not touched at all.

The extra 3% movement speed would be invaluable on Dominion and leaving Rod of Ages as it was before gives it the same identity problems that prompted the AP item changes in the first place, so is there any good reason not to adjust these items as well?

Riot probably just forgot about them. It's happened before, like with the introduction of Luden's Echo, the return of Negatron Cloak, and various other times.

Slight correction though: RoA is the only AP item that wasn't properly updated. Luden's Echo and Archangel's Staff both have the correct values. PvP.net item sets still show the CS-variant Luden's Echo, but it's not available in-game (same with a few other removed items like Grez and Wriggle's).

I assume leaving Wooglet's at 25% extra AP, instead of bumping it up like Deathcap, was intentional though.
