Massive FPS drop on the New SR.

First of all I saw a post earlier, and they were saying it was a Sound problem, disabled sound still massive drop. On the old Rift I could run everything on medium and character quality high, averaging 50-80 FPS when standing still or in lane, and about 30-50 during team fights, I could deal with that NO PROBLEM... Now with the New right I run everything as usual and during team fights I have 10-20 FPS, this is unbearable, I was Wukong and could barely tell what was going on after I engaged with my ult... I tried to run it on Low, ( Did not try Very Low ) and still got massive FPS drop during team fights, when I'm in lane or farming a camp its fine like 40-60, that wonderful for me being on laptop but the team fights are KILLING ME... Whats going on? Is there any fixes for this, will Riot fix this? Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, like... I liked the New Rift look but really? They said it was more optimized than the old one, I'd say not.

I didnt have that problem playing on the new SR before the 4.20 patch, but now even I run the game on Very Low, I have 20-25 FPS in lane and I cant do anything in teamfight.

I just have problems in general. Even before 4.20 when it was only on Team Builder and bots i was having problems, and it's not just through team fights. It's in general, I just can't play the game because I have no clue what's going on 90% of the time when I have 5 frames

My FPS have actually gone up... I just wish the new terrain didn't look like something from a Disney movie

I am glad this is happening to other people, not everybody but a lot of people. Now this is weird though because I have a friend with a worst laptop than mine, he can never run stuff past Medium as to where I can sometimes, he has no problems at and his FPS improved. I don't know... I just hope Riot fixes the problem because obviously there is an issue here, I tried the turning off the sound thing, I think it have me about 5 FPS so I went from 10 to 15 during team fights, I still don't know whats going on in the fights though. Please Riot... I'm a nerd, I play everyday I wont be able to deal with this forever!!

You are not alone man, I finally fixes my fps drop issues in the previous patch and now 10-15min into a game I get massive fps drops that make the game completely unplayable. Lets hope Riot is on top of it and we can get a hot fix.

I figured out the problem with myself. I had bought a brand new radeon r9 270x 4gb, but it was my cpu bottlenecking the gpu. I had to basically upgrade my MOBO and CPU just to run the new Radeon Card.

First I was getting that fps from 250~ and then every 3 seconds to 1 min i would get that random drop to 20 fps.

After I changed my Mother board and cpu. it runs perfectly with my r9 270x. I average now at 300 fps constantly on very high settings.

remember to turn off vert sync and uncap fps.

I've been having the exact same problem. I've since lowered the quality to Low, but it only got marginally better. Changing the sound had absolutely no impact. I really hope that someone identifies what the issue is. I'm not sure about the rest of you, but LolClient.exe constantly runs at about 400K memory and in game, League of Legends.exe uses up anywhere from 700K to 1100K memory in addition to LolClient.exe usage. To me, that seems pretty insane, especially at low quality. Anyone else see that kind of memory usage?
