Low FPS on new update

I know that there are lots of other posts about this, I just thought I would add my two cents, in the hopes that Riot will do something about this issue many of us seem to be facing. I get a good 60 fps during about 1/4 of the game, but any time a team fight breaks out or even with just 3 or 4 champions using abilities at once, I instantly drop to around 1 - 5 fps. I turned down all my settings so I know that is not the issue. I just hope that Riot will fix this soon :)
