During my time this year with URF, I have had a blast. Last year I had a blast as well when this game mode was released.

This year it does honestly seem so much worse than last year though.

I play this game mode for fun and I play random champions. There is only one problem though: everybody plays the same damn champ every game. Its always Zed, Leblanc, Nidalee, Malzahar etc and they just go on and on. So many op champions that everyone plays every game cause they just have to win the URF game. They may have a good time but it gets boring to everyone else always facing the same champions every match. Bans only allow for 6 champions and those 6 do eliminate a lot, but so many more just come along for the same game every time.

Call me as a QQ if you wish, just my group of friends opinion.

They should just delete the most popular or OP champions from URF every day and cycle them.

Cycle 1: Hecarim, Nidalee, Sona and Zed Cycle 2: Leblanc, Malzahar, Soraka and Ryze Cycle 3: Nidalee, Wukong, Amumu, Annie Cycle 4: Hecarim, Ryze, Fizz, Karma Cycle 5: Malzahar, Sona, Leblanc and Zed Cycle 6: Katarina, Fizz, Ezreal, Hecarim Cycle 7: Nidalee, Zed, Hecarim, Leblanc, Malzahar, Sona, Fizz, Ezreal, Katarina (Sunday Have-Fun-Day!)

and it goes on for 5 years.

Then you still got your bans.

I think it's just as good this year as it was last year, but that's just my experience and opinion.

For people who feel as you do, though, I think the whole thing would be solved by giving a ban to each individual player on both teams. That would allow people to ban that champ they think is OP no matter what ("omgz ban malphite or I feed"), and it would decrease the chances of facing a carefully-pre-selected team of five champions who can knock the game out in 5 minutes.

(Personally, I haven't encountered such problems. The occasional controlling-kill lane shows up and is hilarious to lose against, but nothing so frustrating that I won't keep playing.)

That's the point. Spam the most OP champs and have fun. Who would play URF just to try a new build or a champ? Sigh...
