I have been through it and deleting Dominion would just be stupid but i think they should do an Ionia event and revamp up dominion i have some art work and digital designs for it but i want to see what people think of a rework of Dominion in general even happening.
Dominion needs an relaunch, yes.
Most notably to several anti-intuitive aspects of the map. Personal Score needs to die in a fire. The Quests should only spawn on the bottom two points. The middle point should be in the literal middle of the map (we'll call it The Market) with no minion waves waltzing toward it to make it clear to players that jungle control is important and pushing minions is not. Then the upper part of the map becomes an expanded Jungle with some new map objective could be stuck up at Windmill.
If Riot wanted to be lazy they could just replace Blind and Draft pick with Blind Draft. That alone would take half an hour of coding and help the map tremendously.
@Rebonack: Personal score must die, yes. Quests only spawning at bot would help with some of the RNG nature of quests, perhaps they should spawn at certain points too? Your idea about "The Market", well... I don't want a halfhearted rework, so it's probably best to stick to the current 5-point formula. What they could do is reduce minion gold and increase ambient gold gain. This would also encourage a more fluid bot lane, since it'd be easier to switch bot laners and have a shot against the enemy bot laner.
Blind Draft wouldn't help that much. I'd probably be more inclined to ban annoying champions (like Shaco) than "OP" champions. I think it's probably a better idea to just add map-specific nerfs if they're needed. Right now I don't see any pressing need for any additional map-specific nerfs, the map is reasonably balanced.
The biggest benefit of moving the action toward the middle of the map is that it would allow bottom lane to actually join in on skirmishes rather than being an island that gets ganked (often).
And I don't mind Shaco so much.
I would be banning LeB =P
