Getting booted from team builder team resets queue time

I find this to be a fundamentally ridiculous flaw in team builder. If someone wants to do an off meta character/lane they get punished for every team captain with a stick in their ass. I'm okay with waiting 3 minutes to get mid, its the lane everyone and their mother wants, but if the captain doesn't like my character I have to start over? Now what really pisses me off here is the captain has already seen the champion I want to use and the lane i want because thats how team builder works. So they accept it and then kick me for what reason? Its senseless and trollsy as fuck.

I feel like accepting people in then kicking them still gives you people searching compared to not accepting the people, I've been hosting most of my own matches and if you feel like no one will respect your choice then host rooms yourself.

I don't know what you mean here, you gain no information about what someone is doing by accepting and then kicking them than you do by simply passing over them. It only serves to reset their queue time. It would be different if you saw a Garen top lane accepted them and they came in the room and said "Im AP Garen" and you kicked them.

Thats not a feesable idea for someone that wants to test a solo lane build. If you're mid or top then 9/10 people will instantly leave the room when they only see you there. If there isn't already a support or adc, the two roles most people don't take, no one will stay regardless of whether your build is off meta or the most meta thing ever.

More than that stuff though my issue isn't that people don't respect my choice of role/character/build. My point is that when I wait in queue for 5 minutes to get a team and then get insta-kicked it puts me back into the queue like I just went into queue for another round of 5 minutes. To my knowledge no other queue does that. You don't get a queue reset when 3 people didn't hit "accept" for the queue pop, you don't get a reset when people dodge a game.

The que reset is a problem, will not argue that.

I've never personally had a problem filling team builder rooms unless I invite some one from my friend list, so when you say no one will stay for their role etc etc I haven't had that issue before even if I host the room myself with off meta picks.
