Getting booted from team builder team resets queue time

I find this to be a fundamentally ridiculous flaw in team builder. If someone wants to do an off meta character/lane they get punished for every team captain with a stick in their ass. I'm okay with waiting 3 minutes to get mid, its the lane everyone and their mother wants, but if the captain doesn't like my character I have to start over? Now what really pisses me off here is the captain has already seen the champion I want to use and the lane i want because thats how team builder works. So they accept it and then kick me for what reason? Its senseless and trollsy as fuck.
