UPDATE: It appears all the map changes that went out yesterday, including the loading art,was reverted/removed.Which confirm those were released too early.

As Riot JxE mentioned, some stuff for the maps mentioned above will head to the PBE in 5.11 (We just started 5.10 guys, don't expect to see these for another few weeks)

From what I can tell from the TT changes that went out too early in today's PBE patch,it appears the other maps will receive the balance treatment ARAM recently got.And the new loading screen art (which might actually go live in 5.10) also hints they may be looking to tocuh up the visuals.

So,it's good to know that the other maps are being looked.I hope Dominion is going to get more than just some balance changes & small visual tweaks.Let's be honest, the entire map needs a VU.

Remember, the changes are expected to come in 5.11 according to the red post.

Can't wait to see what Riot's complete and utter lack of understanding of Dominion produces this time.

At this point I'd probably have a literal heart attack if they removed personal score.

Let's not be too pessimistic. Sure, sometimes they mess up, but we won't know for sure, and they might end up improving Dominion. Some of the changes have made Dominion better, after all. I don't think it's in a bad state right now, aside from some issues with the map that they've pretty much had since launch, and the long queues, of course.

Let's face it, they're giving us basically nothing.

As far as minor changes we could use, removing personal score is obvious, and possibly also inverting the score system. Instead of counting the enemy's health down, count your own score up. In a VU, it might be nice to have points generating a charge of energy for your nexus, and at full charge it unleashes a blast to destroy the enemy nexus and base. This is mostly to counter complaints by people who don't like the feel of "losing slower," and is otherwise purely aesthetic.

If they were going to do any big gameplay/relaunch changes for Dominion, it should likely be along the lines of better quests. Instead of the random 2 points thing, add in a full quest system of contested objectives. Replace stormshield with a spot for a neutral objective to spawn, and every time a quest would spawn, pick between putting one there or marking both bot points for capture old-quest style. Restricting the specific-point quest to bot keeps the objective fair, while moving the action to force a heavier siege conflict and teamfight. Likewise, a contested neutral objective in mid pulls the action in, while opening up a choice between going for it and its prize or taking the opportunity to backdoor or gank.

As far as neutral center objectives, it's ok to experiment and be creative. A simple channeled capture is fine, a KSable boss monster is not. If you did want to do a boss, you could give it a dual health bar, each team depleting from their own side, and the first to reduce their side to 0 scores the kill, or you could even do an invincible monster on a timer, and the team that did the most damage by the timer's end scores the objective. I'm not opposed to experimenting for a while, as long as you're actually finally willing to pay attention and listen to feedback on what works and what doesn't so we can settle on a proper final iteration.
