Please... I really want a Ranked Dominon... if there is Ranked 3v3 why not add Dominion

The dominion community has more or less died. Riot had a chance to bring in ranked, and to make changes while the community was still in its prime, but they refused to do so. They promised balance changes for dominion, took months before they started doing those, and even then only did it very rarely and soon after stopped.

Even when we didn't have ranked, they removed things like Jabebot that at least let us have out own artifical ranked stat tracking.

It's far too late to be asking for Ranked Dominion now. The game mode is overrun by bots, and the community has collpased, with even dominatedominion no longer existing.

Dude no one plays dominion anymore! It takes about 20 min to find a draft game for dominion!

Lots of people play Dominion. The queue time is usually 1.5 minutes or less. This can go up to 2.5 minutes depending on the time and how many players are on though.

As for Dominion Draft, this queue hasn't really been played since the beginning, so unfortunately queue times are high for this queue.

For as long as I've been playing (since 2012) it's ALWAYS taken that long for a Draft Dom game to be found. That's on;y because very few people used the draft feature in Dom, a normal blind pick can be found very quickly.

That doesn't mean, a ranked dom wouldn't have worse queue times. But there are a lot of people that want a ranked mode, so it could be alright.

Better yet, at least make the current dominion blind draft, and do away with the regular queues there now.

There isn't enough people playing dominion to support a ranked queue, that fact won't be changed by adding a ranked queue.

I wish @ManWolfAxeBoss would come talk to us again like he said he would :(

For the love of god no nobody knows how to play dominion anymore. They never take advantage of power plays and they leave allies to 1 v 3. It's horrendous. Remove dominion add ascension.

It probably won't ever happen for reasons like;a lack of a sustainable playable base I bet it takes pretty long to even find a match in a normal dominion match,if you really want the ranked you would have to convince alot people a ranked dominion would be worth the competition. The champions are made and balanced for summoners rift and every other mode is ignored by Riot in small cases minor changes are made,we can't blame them and I wont but obviously the majority of our player base only likes SR.

The only way I think a ranked dominion would happen is if the map got a visual update and pro players stream matches there so they can gather some momentum,then wait like a year look at player base and then make a decision if conditions are ripe for a ranked queue.The current SR Beta seems like its been a project for over a year.I dont want to be a downer Rito said basically they don't want anything to do with the other modes so my guess they haven't explored a visual update idea (All of this is in my opinion)

Champions and items are balanced for all maps, and not just minor changes. There have been several mid-sized and very few significant changes to champs and items to fit the specific maps.
We can blame them if the neglect any other map. Summoner's Rift is the main map, and because of this it'll get more attention than other maps, that's understandable, but other maps should never feel neglected.
Riot has stated that Dominion and other maps are here to stay.
Riot has been continuously making tweaks to the alternate maps over the years and recently.
Riot has stated that they will focus on alternate maps when Summoner's Rift leaves Beta.
I agree with you the other maps need visual updates as well, and maybe they plan on doing it (as they have made so many things "Colour Blind Friendly" they may make alternate maps like this as well, although I prefer Purple over Red).
Other than a visual update, some more map specific balance changes and other tweaks to make game play more enjoyable, what would encourage pros to stream matches on these maps? This is the important question.

And no, I'm not going to dig up to find where Riot stated all of this, I can probably find some but not all. And I remember Riot stating all of this vividly.

you bring up some good points and all but this is just me going by my bias point of view that Riot has no intention making ranked dominion a success.

Not really actually. There's always someone running a 5 man bot team on dominion to sell the accounts. It's an easy win for grinding xp/ip. 40 something ip per 7 minutes with no boost.

Yep. In fact, I see them so often that it's a surprise when I'm matched against real people.

Dang that's bad. I don't see bots any more so I think it's because you're below 30. Remember to report them afterwards though.

And if you'd like, I can queue up with you for Dominion to lessen the chances of you being matched with bots.

Yea, I suppose it's probably because I'm playing while under level 30. I assume that once the bot accounts get to 30, they get sold.

I know how to Dominion. I corporate with my team, and when my team doesn't want to cooperate, I flip out at them, usually makes them cooperate.

Delete dominion and add CTF or just delete dominion, and make custom games more customizable.

Dominion is a neglected, unbalanced mode and Riot has no intention of doing anything for it, just like they have done very little for it for the past 2 years. It's better just to play to have fun instead of actually investing anything into a dying game mode. Better to let it die than beat its corpse.
