This is certainly true down at the ARAM Bronze League™ tier of MMR -- when players are too incompetent to build health/armor and avoid clustering together. Remember -- when the enemy Yi score is 12 / <4 / >4 by the 14 minute mark, it's imperative that you finish your Deathcap/Infinity Edge before building defense items.
