New Game Mode: Surplus
After years of collecting information and resources, the Institute of War has finally come across something big: an entire cavern filled with veins of magical energy and the stones used to create hextechnology.
But what to do with all of these new-found resources? After a long and stressful discussion, most of the mages and scholars in the Institute were able to agree upon one thing: upgrading Summoner's Rift to all-out warfare.
This game mode, called "Surplus", is essentially the same as normal gameplay on Summoner's Rift, with just one exception: the map and its rules have been upgraded. Such upgrades are as follows:
- There are now 3 turrets guarding each Nexus.
- Every building on the map has 120% health (Azir's Sun Disks also last for 2 minutes, not counting damage dealt to it).
- Revival times are cut by 20%.
- Each minion wave has 4 fighter/mage minions, along with a siege minion in EVERY wave.
- When an enemy inhibitor is destroyed, your team retains the upgraded minion wave in that lane, along with having a super minion at both the front and back of the wave.
So, like I said, the game turns into warfare.
