My MLG step-by-step guide to spotting fake League of Legends rewards programs online and, by extension, helping to prevent viruses:

1.) If it has a "show friends this link" aspect to it, FAKE.

2.) If it does not say "riot" or "riotgames" anywhere in the link, FAKE.

DON'T BE STUPID. If someone on your friend list sends you a link to it, make sure they learn and know that it's not real. If they are convinced and will not listen to a word you say, take them off your friend list and block them. After all, their stupidity isn't your problem.
