Is ARAM really random? Almost every aram game there's an Ahri, Zilean, Tristana, Teemo and Sivir. It cant be a coincidence that these specific champs get chosen almost every aram and how unknown champs like Urgot,Skarner, and Yorick are never in there. I NEED AN ANSWER WHYY, THESE ZILEANS ARE GETTING ANNOYING
people make aram accounts where they only unlock champions that are fun or godmode on aram. of course they still have access to free week champions. yorick will never be on the free week rotation, so that at least explains him.
No, it's all a conspiracy Riot perpetuates on tweenagers who don't understand statistics and probability and think a sample size of <6 is sufficient.
I've noticed that from all RADCs i have I mostly get sivir. Not that's bad, just weird.
But yeah, Riot should fix issue with smurfs, because it chews quite big part of fun. Also ARAM report system should be on the same lvl of importance as normal, because with every month more trolls appear.. Yesterday i had "me afk -> logs out after feeding", and second who'd flame us cuz we didn't go afk too...
It get's worse the higher your climb on ARAM mmr. you only see Lux, Katarina, Yi, Varus, and all the heavy poke mages! It's really not fun at a certain point. The main problem is that a lot of champs get easy gold and xp they wouldn't get otherwise on Summoners Rift, either because they're not viable in solo lanes or can be bullied hard early to delay their power. I really enjoy ARAM sometimes but it gets worse and worse every week

I feel like it isnt entirely random, but in a good way. I go through phases where I play mostly one champion. It definitly seems that I will be given that champion more often then any other. This is the most apparent when you only play single games of aram, seperated by normal games where you only select that champion.

It might be popularity? More people may have bought those champs you're seeing more often? Dunnom
I think a lot of it has to do with the champion pools that people have. The more people playing ARAM that have a specific champion, the more likely that champion will show up in ARAM. It works the opposite way too - the fewer people playing ARAM that have a specific champion, the less likely that champion is to show up in ARAM.
