Resurgence in ARAM dodges

First I'd like to gather information: is anyone else seeing a lot more dodges lately? It's possible I've just hit an MMR where it's more common or something, but I've been seeing an average of three dodges a game (though there have been seven while I was writing this...) and it's getting almost as annoying as pre-queue days.

Second, if it's not just me, what can we do about it? I suspect the problem is people dodging and hopping onto other accounts personally, but I can't say for sure. I believe Riot has the ability to detect when that happens, but so far hasn't done anything that publicly uses that information that I'm aware of, so I'm not totally hopeful they'd target it specifically here... so what can we do? Increased timers? Re-roll penalties? There has to be something. The more it happens the more it's going to keep happening.

I guess just giving them the same champ they had in the last lobby after they dodge a game would help a lot against dodgeing in Aram.

My personal experience records at 15 total dodgers in a row. Second best is 9 in a row and third is 7.

I don't have many dodges, really. Just when my team gets a lot of overpowered champions and I roll someone great for ARAM that I'm good with and we have confident ranked players at Gold or even higher that are friendly. Just in those occasions.

New and exciting topic -- and with a mountain of totally-not-anecdotal evidence, too. Yes, players dodge in ARAM. They also dodge in Summoner's Rift, Twisted Treeline, Crystal Scare -- and even bot games.
