The sounds of the jungle

Can't tell if this has been suggested yet, or what response it got. If someone has covered it feel free to link me to the original. I'd love to read up on it.

Anyway I had an idea while I thought about the new summoner's rift, but what if while roaming the fog of war in the jungle there are small hints through sounds on what jungle camps are up. Lets say that red buff is up (it shows it on the map anyway) but to add a nice taste of "You're in the jungle" What if it made a particular sound that resonated through that part of the forest. Would that take too much from what the game is actually about (Objectives) or is this something that has been thought about by you guys at riot? Would it distract to much from the game?

I'd love to have more sound in the new SR VU jungle though. As someone who plays with the volume on with the game. :)

If the sound is subtle enough and doesn't try to overpower the sound effects of skills, I think it would be fine. The only problem I could see would be an enemy hearing the sound if they hadn't gotten vision of the buff being gone in the first place, and if they don't hear it that kind of defeats the purpose.

Since we now have timers, there is no need for their to be an audio clue for whether or not camps are up. That additional cue could be abused as a way of telling whether or your you jungle has been countered. I rely on the sound of this game for pings and various ability start noises. I'm already frazzled when I traverse the jungle. Additional sound effects would only worsen my feeling.
